    Hi,

Sorry but I think you have got a 'made in India' Bessons (notice the s). For a start I'm not aware that Besson have ever made a pocket trumpet and secondly there is a ton of these about.

I bet it has serial number H75983. If it has, fill it full of cement and make an anchor out of it!!!

    Regards,

    Trevor

PS Just had a better look at the pictures. Save yourself the postage and ask the guy to bury it in the backyard.

    Thanks for your reply camelbrass.
Judging by the pics, it does indeed have the serial number H75983.
So its a rip off horn then. Can anyone else confirm this?

    Yee HAW!
Besson used to have something up on their website in which they mentioned the fake horns with the "s" at the end. They did mention that all of the serial numbers were the same. Since they have reformed into "The Music Group", I haven't been able to find that mention. But it is true... "Bessons" branded trumpets are Indian made and some of the worst fakes out there. Don't even bother trying to make a lamp out of it; it's not worth wasting your time on.
