    Since it was for a 1 year temporary position, they had local auditions. Marty Hodel, professor of trumpet at St. Olaf College, won the temporary position. In a year from now, If Chuck Lazarus decides to stay with the Canadian Brass, they will hold national auditions for a permanent position.

    Hello there Marty! Congrats on the MSO position. I don't know if you remember me, but we were at Eastman together in 1995-96. I am happy to see you are doing well. Keep it up and best wishes! :thumbsup:
