A milestone!

    This morning I played all groups, A through J, of VC I in the Vincent Cichowicz Long Tone Studies.

    Mind you, that high C and high D didn't slot so well, but that's because I suck and need more practice. I did, however, get there pretty easily. Combination of my embouchure being right there and patiently working my way up... but it can be done.

    I'm a happy boy. :-)

    I love it when a plateau is reached, be it mine or someone else's. Congrats! I'm working on range as well (among others) and had a moment of self-congratulation last week when I realized I can pump out a G whenever I want and make it sound good. This is the G below where you are - atop the staff.

    Savor those moments - the better we get the less frequent they occur.
