A place to play my flugel!

    Well, I've played Tom's flugel, and it has a beautiful flugelhorn sound (plays great, too). Hopefully, they aren't the types who get hung up on the way an instrument is shaped...what it sounds like should be the main point. I looked at their web site earlier and found no mention of NABBA, but since they were there, that makes them a contesting band...

    It's addicting.
    Many denigrate flugelhorns, but they are their own thing and have an irresistable appeal to me.

    I agree, that is a stunning horn! If I could have just one final request, it would be to see that horn with the model 225's sweet art-deco valve casings and finger buttons ...

    You could do it but who would want to ruin a Model 225 for it?
