    Good luck.

Hopefully I'll be marching with someone within the next couple seasons.

Out of curiosity, what do you have to do for a DCI audition? I've seen a couple of shows and there are some real monsters, I'm guessing you don't go in and play Petrouchka and Mahler 5...

When I auditioned for Crossmen in '05, I played Hungarian Dance No. 5 and Londonderry Air for the first camp. For the rest of the winter camps, I had to play show music and technical exercises from memory. The first audition just gets you in the door. The rest of the "check-ups" were what really counted. People who didn't have their music memorized were cut from the line. While chops are important, corps look for hard work and dedication more than anything.

    I MADE IT!!!!!

I gotta say, I really wasn't expecting to do all that great, I went mainly for the experience and to see how hard I would have to work to make it next year. But I did it!

It must have been those brownies, thanks Lara!

Congrats! Sounds like you're in for a lot of fun (and maybe just a little hard work...)
