This morning I put down all the alternate fingerings for the Third study of Clarke's Technical Studies as part of my Systematic Approach to Daly Practice work that I'm doing. If you want to check it out and add any I, or Claude Gordon, haven't thought of. Feel free. My this particular page is Clarke’s Third Study Alt Fingerings and Practice Tip | Glory Horn.

just make sure you practice with the standard fingerings too. Clarke understood how humans function-develop habits through repetition. These are the patterns that let you attack the trumpet repertory with ease and confidence. There is a reason that he writes repeat 8 to 16 times......

Thanks man - these are alternate fingerings, as prescribed by C. Gordon - and added by me. Sometimes an alternate is less jarring in sound, and depending on the horn may even be a better tonality choice. The wise player knows his options, just providing them. Happy Valentine's Day all.
