    Hi Manny,
Do your amado spit keys ever stick? I didn't play my C997 for about two weeks and when I picked it up again, the water key kept on sticking. I have get a paper clip to un-stick it. I'm afraid to take it apart, but its hard to play when it's not working.
    Thanks,
    Jimi

Go ahead and squirt a little oil in there. That's happened to me under the same circumstances.

The folks at Getzen when I called them about this problem said the same thing but reccomended sewing machine oil, not valve oil.

    Yee HAW!
Valve oil has worked for me for over three years... on Amado water keys.... on a Getzen cornet. (As well as on a Jupiter flugelhorn AND an Eclipse MR). Never had an Amado stick.

I, too, just use a little valve oil and it has worked out fine for me,
