Bit of an update, my old TR300 was still sitting around at my old man's place, it's going in for a good service and clean tomorrow! That'll do me as my "any horn" until I feel the need to move on to something else.

Where do you live, in the U.K.? TR-300 will be fine, possibly for years to come. If you're going to "obsess", let it be over practice.

You can go "visit" Ted or Peter. They have lots and lots and LOTS of toys to try. ;-)

Whereabouts are they? We're smaller than the UK but we're not that small :p

Start an Aussie thread, they'll show up. Mention that "Foster's" is Australian for beer and it will get lively! ;-)

Ugh! Yuck. We don't even drink that crap here. We have a stack load of microbreweries doing fine craft ales though.

If it helps we don't drink that here either ;) (footy bogans do, beer aficionados don't even classify it as beer)

    Hi Angus,

Hold onto the TR-300 and come along to The Aussie Trumpet Muster at Braybrook College on Saturday 28th June from 1-00pm to 4-30pm. There will be TR-300, Bach Strads, and a B&S ChallengerII 37 (with a Dizzy Conversion), and about 90 other horns to try.

My opinion is hang onto the TR-300 to get back in the Saddle, and take time to find "Your Horn". BTW do you live in Melbourne? Or other parts?

    Welcome to TM
    Cheers
