Any Good Skype Teachers you have actually taken lessons from?

    Obviously, physically present person to person teaching is best, but when that isn't possible ( which could be for many, many reasons ), Skype is better than nothing and probably better than free internet tips.

    Much of teaching consists of "do this." And the classic problem is illustrated below.

    With Skype, we have two close-miked trumpeters exchanging playing, but in real-life 3D with all of our senses engaged we get the presence of sound that Skype simply can not reproduce. This is the primary reason I prefer one-on-one teaching happening in the same room.
