What bothers me is that the O.P. failed to tell us how it played. Was it good or bad?
I think the reference in the video clip to ducks landing on the roof is a clue.
Bingo CBK ... it is almost unplayable ... I was nervous about putting a decent mp in it being it wasn't a real receiver.... so I found a pretty beat up one lying around and tried working it ... you can bend just about any note, and I use the term note loosely, almost 3-4 half steps. I am not sure if the tone is more Canadian Duck or one of the local variety.
I think the bell is from a Bach Prelude or something like that form the early nineties.
I am pretty sure the original mp is stuck in a reciever somewhere with a cork screwed leadpipe.
It will be disassembled shortly.. for parts.
.455 bore.. valves have the letter "S" above the valve number
tuning slide is definitely Holton. I compared it to an older Holton cornet I had in the parts bin..
