If you want the copy of a trumpet that really can't be copied
The physics are different between the two yet still, for one again the tuning slide. Since I've been to the factory and played I can speak of my own experience. Should yours differ that's cool.
Monette is murder on your checkbook!!! Man, how'd I miss this thread?
Really, rotate fast enough, as in a centrifuge, and denser particles disperse to the outer rim. Also, ultra high speed rotation produces the dynamo effects of electrical charged magnetism and heat.
Not many realize the sound wave is rotational, vis 3 dimensional, as thus far we can only view its profile in 2 dimensions unless we're present in an advanced laboratory. Thus, every turn of the tubing produces a compressive thickening density to the inner side and a shallower thinner density to the outside of the turn/curve. It is therefor my thought that such produces a mixed tonation.
You were lucky?
Take Microsoft or Samsung, they both copy Apple in many ways since 2000, both hardware and software. Apple products are more money but a vastly improved product. It may look like an Apple Store, or iPhone but it sure isn't. The last statement was subjective, but that's the point .
Kind of like this:

You don't have to read the thread? lol
It's just a typical Monette thread and it / they always seem to drift off this way and so after awhile of the "My uber expensive horn is better" banter I find it good for curing insomnia. It's certainly entertaining for awhile though!
