Are you asking for my opinion?
Don't injure your playing arm winding up for the throw... ...moderators are right ALL the time.
Hahaha, all the time? I dont know about that...
You are 100% correct in the above. My last teacher (lead trumpet UNT 1 O'Clock - 2010-2011) was the nicest, humblest, and most giving person I've ever known. He also is among the best musicians playing today! Dan told me many times trumpet players get a rep as being cocky, but most of the time this was not true. Trumpet players in general, and lead players in particular are most often very confident in their ability. Dan was supremely confident in his ability, and it shows in his playing.
His humility was a shock to me because I work in an profession that is full of inflated egos.
Yesterday I thought I knew what was up.
Wow, I really have no opinion on that, and that really freaks me out!
We are like Gabriel, ready, willing and able to destroy the ear drums of any [email protected] woodwind player that
has the nerve to question our superiority!
Do you suspect woodwind players frequent a trumpet forum? And if they do, would they have the gall to even think about questioning the superiority of a trumpet player?
ccNochops, I am an INTJ--maybe that's why I'm a moderator. [INTJ] The Compleat Idiot's Guide to the INTJ
