Finally... I managed to see my daughter graduate with her B. Mus. in French Horn performance. The ceremony was endless, the airconditioning starting to give up and the seats VERY uncomfortable! Just one celebratory dinner and a few "minor" student loans to pay off. Now the REAL "education" begins.... finding a job!
Congrats! Very nice looking young lady. Must look like mom! Tell her for us, we wish her the very best and may she achieve her dreams both personally and professionally.
Hip, hip, hooray! Congratulations to the happy graduate and her proud parents. I can't imagine she will have a tough time getting gigs lined up, but just in case, send her our way. We have a recording session planned for next Tuesday and I don't think our regular horn player can attend. Payment is, of course, in beer! - Paul Artola Ellicott City, Maryland
Toots, I'll bet you are one proud papa right now! Congratulations! How cool it must be for your child to come into their own as a fellow musician.
