    Emory University
    Hosted by the Atlanta Trumpet Ensemble
    Master Classes featuring:
    Mr. Peter Bond – Trumpet Metropolitan Opera Orchestra
    Dr. Bradley Ulrich – Professor of Trumpet Western Carolina University
    Dr. Gordon Vernick – Coordinator of Jazz Studies Georgia State University
    &
    Participant Trumpet Ensembles conducted by:
    Charles Jackson – Director of Bands – Dodgen Middle School
    Dr. Bradley Ulrich – Professor of Trumpet Western Carolina University
    Charles Brown – Director of Instrumental Music – Hebron Baptist Church
    The 2nd Annual Atlanta Trumpet Festival will be held in Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts at Emory University on November 11-12, 2005. This year's festival will feature three master classes given by Mr. Peter Bond, Dr. Bradley Ulrich, and Dr. Gordon Vernick.
    There will be a Festival Concert program in the evening featuring performances by all the festival participants in large trumpet ensembles. Participants will perform in a trumpet ensemble in either the Professional/Collegiate/Other category, High School category, or Middle School category. (No audition is necessary.)
    Registration will be $65 for early registration, ($75 after October 15, 2005). The fee includes 3 meals, ensemble participation, all master classes, a commemorative t-shirt, and the Friday night recital. Please see our web site for registration information: www.atlantatrumpetensemble.com.

    I am planing on attending this. I just have to get my paper work in to my school, since they might pay for it :cool:

    any TMers going to be there?are you up for it alex? joel?

    man, i really wana go to this, but i dont think i have the extra funds for the registration and gas :cry:

    I am considering, but have not made up my mind yet. :dontknow: I will be returning from overseas the week prior and will have a bunch of make-up lessons to take care of with my students, etc. I am leaning toward going though.

    I am considering going to this. I will have to wait until the time is closer to see what my schedule allows though.

    I attended last year and had a great time. This year looks to be even better so I'll definitely be there...as long as I don't overdo my Marine Corps Birthday celebration on the 10th.
