Some artists do not know when to call it quits. Plastic trumpets are pretty disgusting too. It is not like there is not enough money crossing the counter for that gig. Trumpet players are not that expensive........

When Stevie Wonder played at the White House, he didn't have horns either. Most people could care less, we're expendable.

Trumpet players are a security risk. We are not expendable, we are not in accordance with department of state policy.

Lame. I would've thought Paul McCartney would have better taste than that. You know if HE said "hire a real band," it would get done.

While I agree that this sounds pretty rough I'm not sure that paying a trumpet player to play on one song makes much sense. It might seem odd to bring someone out for one tune. Too bad there wasn't a horn section for the entire tour.

The saddest part is that out of thousands of people there probably less than 100 of them even knew that this was originally played on a trumpet, much less a piccolo tpt.
