Bach cylinder reinforcer

    Do they work? can you make your own? the cost to import to the uk blows it.

    Never heard of them. Af first I thought it would have a same effect as heavy valve caps, but on a site (I think the Bob Reeves site) it strongly said this wasn't the case.

    They won't be difficult to make, I might have a try and see if it does something.

    I bought the Artisan one for my 43*. What is with customs fees. I had to pay more for shipping to Canada but the part is simply a very thin silver plated washer so how much more than my initial outlay of $15 CDN would you be paying? I like the difference it makes in the resonance of the horn. You could probably make one but cutting tubing the thickness of a sixpence may be dicey.

    You're asking how much it would cost to make such a washer? Like a few cents without the coating. It's not hard at all.
