I have a Bach Strad model 37 and just the other day I tripped while holding it and fell. I crumpled the bell a bit and put a couple dings in it. I'm so upset.

I want to get it repaired by somebody who knows what they are doing. Any recommendations? Should I just send it back to Bach, or is there a reputable repair center somebody would recommend?

    Robert

I've been very happy with the work of (in alphabetical order)

James Becker at Osmun Music in Arlington, MA (45 minutes from where I live)

Josh Landress in New York (convenient to where I work one week per month)

Dr Valve (Steve Winans) in Illinois (as close as the nearest Post Office)

I live in Cleveland Ohio, but I would be okay with shipping my baby if it meant better service. It sounds like you've walked in to all these places? Do they accept shipments?

There's a good tech closer than that. I've seen some of Ian's work, and they're pretty good. located in Talmadge area of Akron. here's the URL for their site..............

Just noticed it doesn't work off this site for some reason. It is good, you'll just have to put it in yourself. I also have an E-Mail contact if you wish. PM me and I'll give it to you............Buck

Perfect! Thanks! I'll drive down there. It's not far at all.

For Josh and James I call ahead. For Dr Valve it was easiest to mail it to him. He even has a packaging kit available to use to pack up your horn and use to mail it to him.
