I'm a high school student and I'm thinking about buying my first C trumpet. My Private teacher showed me the Bach Strat Model 239 CL with a 25H lead pipe, from the 1970's. I really liked how it sounded but I need a second opinion. Can anyone tell me their opinion on this trumpet? (If you've played it before)

Few people are going to object to you playing that trumpet,
but the most important thing is YOUR thoughts on it (and your teacher's)
If you like it and you need a C, they can be pretty good horns in the right hands

Each horn is different, I have played a couple that I didn't like. I have a ML 239 bell-tuned C that is magnificent, it belonged to Raphe Malik. It is becoming my small ensemble horn, I haven't had it out in the loud crowd yet.
