    Hi gang!

I just wanted to write a little note to let you all know that I'm back from a mildly grueling 9 week tour of the US with the Artie Shaw Orchestra. I think the tour was a great success. We played many amazing venues and the crowds were for the most part EXCELLENT! I realized a lot in terms of playing that long of a tour:

    1. 28,000 miles on a bus is BRUTAL, even if you're not driving!

    2. I cherish every moment I can play my horn sans the Silent Brass (even though I relish the fact I can practice at 4 AM if I'd like)

    3. I can't wait to play a tour with my own group!

    4. I really enjoyed the teaching I did on the trip (even though I would have loved to have more opportunities) and hope the students enjoyed it as well. Speaking of teaching I'm back in Boston for anyone who's interested! ;)

    5. I loved meeting all the TH, TPIN, TM'ers out there and look forward to seeing you all again very soon.

I now have to dig myself out of PAGES of TO DO'S!

    Regards,
