Baking & Silver

    Ok it worked on my m.p. now I want to do my Trumpet Conn 22B ca.1933 I am wondering it is silver and satin (matte like )would this have a bad effect on the satin finish and ok on the silver I know the silver would be ok but the Satin? Thank you Anthony

    Usually the matte finish is blasted onto the raw brass and then plated. The baking soda and aluminum should get it looking brand new.

    Thanks one more thing on the spit valves I have new rubber instead of cork one on my 3slide and of course Tuning slide would boiling water damage the rubber?Thank you Anthony
