    Thanks. I guess it's not bad for 45 years old. There are some issues in the classic locations, such as the end of the 3rd valve slide, scratches and small dents along the bell, worn off silver at the contact points. My 2016 Christmas present to myself will be sending it to Schilke for a new bell, 3rd valve slide, and replating.

    My oldest horn is an old 150euro ebay rotary cornet it sounds absolutely amazing after an oiling procedure. Glad I bought it probably worth 200euros,..., it's a fun horn to play jazz pieces hahahha. I believe it was made in the 1930s it is high pitch,,,

    Back in school when I played 5+ hours a day, I had to clean the horn once a month or it would get disgusting. 2 months is pretty good, though. Kudos for taking care of the horn.
