Only one thing wrong in your post Peter Australia didn't win the ashes they stole them out of the grip of a lot of silly show ponies with wonderful even supreme aggression and frankly I am glad. The England side needed one heck of a kick in the seat of it's complaceny. Your boys played wonderfully well especially Mitchell Johnson who bowled with a pace and agression I have not seen in cricket for many years, long may the trend continue. I am rather tired of seeing Glenn McGrath clones around the world, just trying to hit the top of off at medium pace amd declaring that they modelled themselves on the great man. Even the wonderful Dale Steyn doesn't really back up his pace and aggression with the lovely throat ball that skids off the pitch. Lets have some more quick pitches and have batsmen in fear of their noses, encourage the specatacle of a truly great fast bowler in a real purple patch of form busting a gut to get his team a win. (By the way I played cricket guess what I used to be)

Funny, I were a typical Yorkshire quick, fastest bowler ever, (out of the Trueman School) No I was an aggressive fast medium who thought I was Lille crossed with Holding, still quick enough to get batsmen backing away at local club level though
