If you are serious about playing the trumpet find someone who gives private lessons. In the meantime the basic rule I was taught is that the lower you can play, the higher you can play. Also congrats on double tounging. I am a 10 year trumpet player and I still can't make my tounge go tu ku tu ku while buzzing the mouthpiece.

I'll second the recommendation to get a private teacher, but hey you've been playing for just 1.5 months it takes time to develop range. Just keep playing and you'll develop your chops.

the chance of your lips being "inferior" is not very great. Range comes from proper use of your air and this is related to breathing habits that you must develop.
All of us are anxious and try to solve our playing problems in a couple of hours - most of us are not successful with this approach. Patience is the most important lesson that you will ever learn.
