Try the green Schlossberg book.
I am currently a sophomore and I own the Arban studies and the Clarke studies as well....I have been working on them for about two years now and they really help with technique as well as range.
But when you achieve both like me... you've got a rare bird... Thanks for your kind assessment oh beaked one.
I second that emotion. Schlossberg worked wonders for my endurance and range in high school and is doing it again for me now. I also use Arban's and Clarke's. Lip slurs, arpeggios, and long tones are very effective.
Would love to hear you play "Higher, Meyer" (sp?) sometime Never mind that is in Bud Brisbois' duet book.. How about GlowWorm?
