The French have different words for just about everything, and they don't make great cars.

The Citroen DS and Ente were cool looking, but only good for stunts in James Bond books and films. Even Australians can make better cars: [IMG]

Is that the Mad Max Interceptor? I believe there's a new one being planned, as Ford says "Vorsprung durch Kino"

French cars have become a lot better. Citroen has more World Champion titles in Rallyes than just about any other auto manufacturer. That's the work of Sebastien Loeb, who just got his 8th World Champion title in a row, thereby becoming the most successful auto racer in the history of the sport (Michael Schumacher scored 7 titles in Formula 1). And this is a real World Championship, with pilots from all over the World, and 12 races in 12 different countries every year, including Australia and New-Zealand (a given country may not be on the calendar every year).

It may not ring a bell with Americans, who are often not familiar with Rallye, but the WRC has a TV audience of 800 million people across the World. Before Loeb, in the age of the group B, Peugeot got some pretty good success with Ari Vatanen at the wheel.

    This video introduces Rally:

This is a video of Ari's performance with the Peugeot 406Turbo at the Pike's Peak in 1988. He won that year. Robby Unser won the following year in the same car. Anyone into car racing should watch it, and keep in mind that many of the turns are next to thousand foot drops, where a mistake would carry the ultimate price.

Michelle Mouton was the first to demonstrate in the 1985 Pike's Peak that a 4WD is the way to go fastest on this race, winning with her Audi Quattro.

Really love where this is going.....

Also check the results of peugeot in Le Mans 24 hour race ... With the diesel engine they are always very good alongside the audi car (also a diesel engine).

But i guess that since we europeans don't make muscle cars like the camaro or the mustang, the intrest of you stoplight sprinters is close to none

We actually make cars who will make it through a corner or a bend... ROFL
