best tip

    It's an interesting tip, but consider that 1.) no one actually wants to suck and 2.) half of the people who do suck don't realize it.

    From my teachers, probably "rest as much as you play" when practicing.

    From general comments I found on the internet, I would say listening to good trumpet players and then trying to sound like them always.

    Also, the idea of singing and treating everything as a line was also a big deal.

    ¨Don´t try buy your way out of a problem¨ from my teacher. When at 12 because I couldn´t play anything above a G just on top of the stave, I thought it was time to buy a pro horn needless to say my mam and music teacher thought differently.
