I just found my Vincent Bach mouthpiece that i haven't used for quite a while and now the mouthpiece is black and discolored. Does anyone know what the cause is and how can i clean it off?

Try toothpaste. Plain old Colgate's works. I can't speak for the gels, the plain stuff works.

It's just silver tarnish. Some silver polish (followed by a wash) will make it look like new again.

It's tarnish. Just get some silver polish. Just like your momma's good silverware, you have to polish it before Thanksgiving because it got all black since last year.
