    Gave blood today.

Should I wait to get back into the throws of Trumpet?
    and if so, how long?

    Thanks!

I always have to wait a day, but I usually pass out from blood donation.

I haven't felt any different before or after, so I'll probably pick up the horn today

I always feel better after donating blood but everyone is different. I once gave blood and an hour later competed in a raquet ball tournament and didn't notice any problems. I say if you feel OK go ahead a play your horn but if you feel the least bit light-headed put the horn away sit down and drink some fluids.

I have donated blood and then played. (Once I went straight from donation to gig, not a good experience). I would recommend just being observant. Like Dave said, if you feel light headed sit down and drink some fluids. Use a not so nice horn just in case!
