    Hello all,
What are some good books on Practicing? Preferably from a trumpet players view point but doesn't have to be. I have read the Practice of Practice. Also what are good books by master trumpet players to read?

I would suggest Eric Bolvin's guide to the Arban Method, a guide to practicing from the book in a structured progression.

    Regards, Stuart.

How to Practice Jazz by Jerry Coker. A nice book on how to organize your practice time.

The best books about trumpet aren't necessarily about trumpet.

For Improvisation the Hal Crook books are excellent.
Steve Lacy's book (I forget the name of it) is very good.
The aforementioned Jerry Coker book, and Coker's other books are very good.
