Have you noticed? Some trumpets have a brace near the main tuning slide, and some don't. . .why?
Braces stiffen the horn. The more braces the better the slotting, the darker the tone.
But it´s also that every brace and especially the position of them can make a different trumpet.
Take a look at Ken´s project for modifying a dog of trumpet to a very good one.
have you noticed? some trumpets are silver and some aren't...why???
Good to know!
Crowmadic's question seemed like a real question to me.
I bet not very many people knew the answer.
Champchump, Champchump, what have I done to be so disrespected? If you would have taken the first line of my question (Have you noticed?) with a humourous reaction intstead of sarcasm, then your enimies would be my enimies. Then you would be feared when you enter a sarcastic reply to a Thread. But, that being said, let me say that I thank Herbert/Puukka for his constructive response, and leading me to a very interesting site. MJ and Solar Bell, I'm glad you benefited by my question. May the mysteries of trumpet construction and playing be understood by the brother & sister hood of players........... crow
i don't think i have any enimies...i might have some enemies, but i know how to deal with them...
going to go work out my buccinators now
Do you realize what my last message was mimicking? I ask this because my hunch is you're a young guy, and may not be catching some senior sarcasim. I'm being friendly now. .......... crow
i'm not really down with having conversations unless it helps to build my buccinators, so...
Actually, that link was pretty cool. Thanks for posting that.
