Unfortunately no....degrees F.....welcome to buffalo xD
Kinda like a car show, kick tires, try other horns, lie about your double C, listen to other high Cs ( till you realize where the term "put a sock in it " came from most likely ) meet some people from the forum, trumpet talk!
The first hour is meet and greet, checking out the collections of vintage and professional horns and visiting with vendors. from 2:00 to 3:30 is a master class , this year run by Kyle Resnick kyleresnick.com Usually from 3:30 to 5:00 we form an ensemble to play. I have put together 15 folders of trios, quartets, quintets all the way to pieces with 15 parts of music with very easy to moderately difficult pieces. Folks sit wherever they wish to play, however a folder with a third part of a trio, will have the first part of a quartet etc. Admission is $10.00 most of which goes to an honorarium to the person doing the master class, any remaining funds support the Buffalo Niagara Concert Band all ages are welcome to attend, However I have to admit experiencing some anxiety watching a grade schooler handling the vocabell in my signature. Even with his father standing right next to him, my problem I guess.
It will be great to have you there again Ivan.
I am on a fence about this. I really enjoyed the last two, but have a lot going on, and don't know if I can get free this time.
Do the best you can Asher, We will miss you and think of you if you can't make it. Bandmates ask about you.
Yes - please come. I might have a quarter-tone C trumpet ready for display by then.
Well I'm certainly going! I might even bring some friends that play also. As longs s nobody minds a couple teens going around generally being obnoxious
Why would anyone mind teens behaving like teens?
I promise we won't break anyone's instruments
Teens are welcome.
