    Ok Please answer these questions.
    and listen to my story

    MY STORY

    Recently got a old Yamaha 232 trumpet from my teacher. Huge amount of dirty wear of lacquer and looks dirty and sluggish.
    I'm trying to SORT OF overhaul this trumpet by giving a bath and to fix up SOME exterior of the horn.
    I'm ordering a Yamaha Trumpet Care kit to give a bath.
    Also going to TRY OUT AND BUY some polishes. SUCH as
    Hagerty all metal polish, Yamaha Brass Soap, Brass/Woodwind Lacquer Polish.

    QUESTIONS

    1. CAN YOU TELL ME WHICH POLISH IS GOOD THAT IS LISTED ABOVE IN BOLD TEXT?

    2. CAN YOU TELL IF YAMAHA LACQUER POLISH IS GOOD?

    THANKS

    How have you been cleaning your other horns? No polish will make laquer look better, they will just strip it

    Well, I disassemble the 1,2,3 slides, valves and bath them.
    Put lukewarm soapy water in a tub with a silicon base {For Protecting your horn}
    and yeah all bathing was successful.
