Can playing harmonica affect trumpet playing?

    I learned the Harmonica first--age 6-- trumpet age 10-- I play both in dance/swing bands dont notice any problem. Learning both at the same time might prove more difficult. jm

    You have a swing band that allows a harmonica???

    I just can't see a harmonica solo in the middle of Count Basie doing Shiny Stockings!
