I have been enjoying researching horn makers' lines and histories, but the one that seems to be the most connfusing to me still are the ones that still make horns, and in particular, Conn.

I am cool with Martin, Bueschers, Olds, Blessings and that ilk, so much easier to grapple.

I guess it is all the numbers and letters instead of line names (and the fact that they are still pumping out instruments.
Add in Directors, Connstellations "Cool Connstellations" and the like and i lose it.

So, trumpet universe, can you de-connfuse me about Conns? Constellations in particular please....

I haven't reread this Loyalist lately, but it seems to me she does provide some history post-1970 and some rationale for serials thereafter. No?

Ya there is some, but talk about a complex history...geesh. Well, at least I know a little bit about what I'm looking at. We humans over complicate everything!
