    Geez.....I take off a couple weeks to buy a house, stop practicing and posting and I come back....and look at y'all. For the record, I think a Bach 7c is a good beginning mouthpiece.....and as far as Monette....I can't even spell it let afford buy one......will a Bach 7c fit in it? :roll: Maybe a re-distribution of trumpetal assets will get me one.....no wait, I'd rather have a Xeno:-P

    Well, approximately 95% of the manufacturers have provided a 7C mouthpiece with their new trumpets and I suspect more than 85% countinue to be utilized by trumpet students throughout their high school years here in the U.S. Even today, more than 6 decades later I can make do with one, however I now favor a few others more as I have for many years past.
