I use chop saver, can´t get it in Norway though.I usually order it from England when necesarry
Borg Musikk DA i Sarpsborg I use Carmex and ChopSaver after a gig, but not during a gig!
I can play with anything on my lips ... the horn slides around on me. If I have chapped lips Blistex cream during the day and at night but I make sure to wipe it off before I play.. serously wipe it off.
I use Chapstick all the time (and throughout the show) but wipe the excess off. I want my lips moist but not that layer of slippery goo on the mpc. If I get too dry, my lip seal is not good either, there is a balance for me.
Ditto, although it is much easier get Chop Saver here in the good old USA. I also like the Vitamin E sticks sold in WalMart for about $1.50 a tube. I use both perpetually cause here in the Great Basin we are high and dry. Don't use anything on the gig or while playing at all, but afterward--yes.
