I really have been wanting to find some free version of the carnival of venice(completely unsuccesfully) and was hoping someone would give the web adress of a free version of the carnival of venice. or even if you could just email me a digital version of it (please with only serious intentions [email protected]). Or a digital version of a complete arban book. I have also not been able to find any way to even aquire sheet music of the carnival of venus, so if someone could point me in the right direction. thanks

I don't know of any "free" copies of Arban's book. There are both paper and digital versions available on many websites including Amazon, ebay, etc. Arban has his version of Carnival of Venice in the book but the accompaniment is not there. I don't know where that is available. There are other arrangements around but unless someone here has a spare they are willing to give you, I am not aware of any sources of free ones. Most are still copyright protected in one way or another.

There are recordings on Youtube and you could listen to one of those repeatedly and either memorize it or transcribe it. I have done that successfully with several pieces that I liked but could not find.
