I'm planning to buy a Kuhlohorn on German Instrument Auction website.
It's a August Clemens Giler make in Markneukirchen.
It seems doesn't have a case.
I need a case for this horn.
Does anyone know a good FLAT Based Case for my up-coming kuhlohornie?

Ask Franz Josef Traut in Munich - Instrumentenbau Traut - he will be able to provide a proper case, or make one, taking my Glier Kuhlohorn as a specimen. But you can fit the Glier Kuhlohorn into any double or triple gig bag - no problem. I'm using the Ritter bags amnd have played my Kuhlohorn at umpteen gigs, carrying it back and forth in that Ritter bag.

Ritter RCB900 Gigbag 3 Trumpets BC - Thomann UK

I can guarantee that any Glier Markneukirchen Kuhlohorn will fit, together with one Bb trumpet and a large Flugel.

Is there a case for only ONE Kuhlohorn?

Your best option (cheapest) is to get a small suitcase, fit it with some foam blocks and cover then with faux velvet. A custom case will probably cost more than the horn.

My kulohorn is coming in its original case with its original mouthpiece.

    Regards, Stuart.

    Is it Giler or Bielefield?

Glier had two workshops - I dont' know how they were related time-wise. One was in Markneukirchen, one in Bielefeld.

Sorry was talking about Ernst David of Bieiefield, Most of Glier's works are established in Markneukirchen like the Schusters :D
