    I worked an ice show at MSG with Cat Anderson. Cat said he warmed up for almost 6 hours before he left the hotel to play the show.
    I don't know if he was pulling my leg or not :dontknow:

    It was the early 70s. Cat was the assistant music director and lead trumpet.I remember Danny Stiles sitting with Cat. The other guys were Murray Karpilovsky, Johnny Bello, Al DiRissi and me.
    Cat had a feature on "Soul Train" that was unbelievable. He made it look easy :roll: It was just about the time his book came out.

    I've seen that book. I remember seeing "Do nothing till you hear from me" up about eight octaves :D
