    Hey Chuck,

I would pay my last buck to see Chris & Herb play together. I see so much similarity in their styles.

That would be worth every cent.

Peter, Herb and Chris, that would be a dream team. I did google for Chet Baker and Miles Davis playing together and found a couple of times they did , but no video just audio.

It's good to know some trumpet players are making big bucks...I'd be happy making minimum wage on a street corner. The most I ever got was 20$ to stop playing...I should have extorted them for more money. They were filming the television show The Bachelor "Then they asked me to play on camera...I signed a release but I don't think I'll be on TV...Oooh and my tone was so sloppy. Hah!

Sorry guys I still don't get it. He strikes me as the Kenny G of trumpet. He knows how to work a crowd with "amazing riffs" and emotional music with lots of "clap here" moments. But I'm sure there are thousands of players, probably many right here on TM, that are far better players who just weren't at the right place at the right time. Of course if that what the audience wants, and he taps into that, more power to him.
