    Just curious--

Size-wise (cup diameter and depth), how does a Marcinkiewicz Claude Gordon Personal mouthpiece compare to a Bach 3C?

Hello, the inner rim MM size is larger on the Marcinkiewicz M.P's, than the smaller version Kanstul CG series mouthpieces. Marcinkiewicz inner rim size falls in the Bach 1X rim size and the Schilke 17 rim size.

Which is to most on the large rim size. A Bach 7C today is listed at 16.10 MM. The older Charts on the older pieces were shown at 16.00 MM. Re-check all the specs on the Mouthpiece Express internet site to be sure. As I did a fast look at before posting this.

Musicians Friend had a good sell on some new Marcinkiewicz CG Trumpet and maybe Cornet mouthpieces, with maybe free shipping to boot. Seems they were $54.99 with either choice of throat bore. If you play the larger mouthpieces. These should work for you. I play the smaller Kanstul versions. Good luck.

He's right. It feels bigger but I'm not sure it's that big (study888's measures). The alpha angle, due probably to the larger inner diameter is also quite higher. For me the inner diameter feels about 16.75 mm. But that's subjective.
