    IC wasn't the heavenly answer per se, but it was what Bud played in 1957, and that was good enough for everybody in Chicago and elsewhere who revered him. We were all Herseth wanna-be's.
    I'm an old fart and I can play the hell out of a 3C - 1C here I come.

    If you look at the world of trumpet playing from Bud's perspective, who cares what any one else thinks? Is there anybody out there who wouldn't cut off whatever to play like him?

    This is truely great. Welcome to TM. You will find some really dedicated trumpeters and many who will go out of their way to assist you in your needs....no matter what country they are from (especially from "down-under", had to give you a plug Ted).
