Hello, maybe someone can answer this. I am in need of replacement springs for my Martin Committee Deluxe trumpet. I have heard that the Shilke springs will work and was ready to purchase a set when I dicovered a site," Votaw Tools" that claims to supply actual Martin Committe trumpet springs. Has anyone ever tried Votaw? I'm wondering if the have gotten the specs on the Committee springs and are reproducing them. Thanks

Springs are springs. Any repair shop will have a selection of springs to choose from. Votaw likely isn't making a custom spring for the committee, unless it has one of the more unique spring designs like the ones with big tapers in them or wide bottoms.
