Anyhoo i can get what Webster's dictionary would call a scale* out of the thing, and that's the main point. My next question is does anyone know anything about Cornet mouthpiece measurements?

    *However roughly.

Cyrus, above is a link to Mouthpiece Express. I don't buy from them anymore, but all the specs are there. The Bach numbering system for many Cornet mouthpiece makers holds true: a 3 denotes a larger diameter than a 7.

Cornet and Trumpet mouthpieces are rated the same way. If you play a 7c trumpet mouthpiece for instance, a 7 "something" cornet mouthpiece of the same brand is a good start. I say 7 something, because every manufacturer has a different designation for the Vee shaped cornet mouthpiece (as far as I am concerned - a necessity).
