    Thank you to everyone!
I play on a Bach Strad 37. I've been playing on it for about 5 or 6 years now. Thank you for the advice with walking out and leaving. Honestly the whole introduction part just felt awkward. Thank you to everyone for your kind comments! And yeah, everyone at my school loved that flute player XD

Very well done, both you and your ensemble.

Is this a joke? I hope so and even if it is I think its a uncalled for comment.

WoW!! Great performance!! Be very proud, your talent, and commitment thereto, shows. Great job!!

As for the entrance, etc., yeah...ditto. You deserve to be a little cocky in your mannerisms...your performance more than justifies it. :bravo:

As for your attire, you looked perfectly fine. But when you're attending Julliard or Mannes, maybe straighten that bow-tie? (j/k) :D

Perhaps the point frankmike is making is that there is nothing to complain about otherwise? (And from a guy who looks like a monkey in a suit when he wears one, the suit seems fine to me.)

    Le renard et les raisins,
by Jean de la Fontaine (middle of the 17th century)
Translation to English by Christopher Carsten
    ………………………………………………………………………………………

    Fox and Grapes

A fox with something of a Gascon swagger
(Though some say full of Norman pith and cunning),
Half starving, spied up high upon an arbor
Grapes, whose visibly ripe clusters, dangling
With full red rosy skins, in sunlight shone.
Gladly he would have made of them a meal alone.
But since he couldn't even reach them with a stick :
    « They're much too green, » and added « food for a hick. »
Wasn't this better than to gripe and groan ?

    ..................................................................................

(related with the flute player, of course, not with the OP)
