I'm hanging with CT as we're celebrating his 85th tonight at UNH. He's absolutely amazing... his sound, chops, and style are still right on... he's the biggest role model in my life and seeing him again is the biggest battery recharge I could ever ask for.

If anyone's around UNH this evening this concert should be a lot of fun!

    Best,

    T

Eighty five and still sounding fine! It's funny, but the lead player in my community band will also turn 85 this next month and he still has a beautiful sound. I just hope that I'm still around and playing well at 85!

happy birthday to one of the greatest trumpet players and human beings to have graced this earth - if any of you don't have "Live at The Village Gate" check it out - brilliant CT.
