Who made/makes that?
Bobby Shew makes one:
Bobby Shew :: Visualizer
Yours looks like mine. But Warburton's also attaches to the instrument, as does the Bobby Shew I now see, and I concur that such simulation is superior to that offered by the Bach.
I've never tried to use it as a visualizer. Probably looks like a horror show. Just a little buzzing.
take one of your old mouthpieces out to the garage and spend some quality time with daddy's hacksaw...let us know the results.
Ah, Old World craftsmanship! I prefer this!
In an idle moment I put a chinese 7C in the milling machine and converted it to a similar device, as a visualizer it works ok, but it has'nd done anything for my playing, I just cannot get it to sound in the trumpet.
Stuart, that's funny ... but I've heard similar before. In fact, we traded one with a lead player in high school just before concert. Well, he was [deleted by author] ... the night of the concert. Although we gave him back his own mpc, that concert was the worst I ever heard him play. Attitude and temper can wreck your ability. He didn't, but his son played trumpet in one of the Army bands I was told.
