I really wanted to go [it was so close since I live in Indy] but I had already committed to helping at the Miracle Ride. Hope that you have another one so that I can attend.

Dayton Trumpet Hang ACT 2: Ohio Valley British Brass Band concert at Carillon Park with Allen Vizzutti

    Dayton Trumpet Hang '12 - ACT 2 - OVBBB Concert - YouTube

The OVBBB played a number of traditional marches + other pieces & were just great. Allen played 4 pieces. There are many videos online of his famous version of the 'Carnival of Venice', know as 'Carnival of Venus', so I chose instead to upload the full versions of 2 other selections ... I love beautiful melodic playing.

    Enjoy!

Thanks Leo, Gary, Hauer Music, Yamaha for making this great trumpet hang happen. It was a great time and I enjoyed spending time with my trumpet brethren.
Allen was amazing! G-man was tearing it up at Gilley's too!

Yep, Al from DC, got to play them all... Of the new horns, The Yamaha Xenos - Vizzutti and NY models were my favorites... The Bobby Shew horn was a little tight... I needed it in a D width.

Of course once again my favorite in the show was the Olds Recording tied with the Martin Committee that was brought in by... hmmmm... let me see.... who was that guy.... Oh yeah... it was me.

Gmonady, how many horns did people bring in to the hang?

Here is a picture of Leo... and me. Leo is the real talent behind putting the Hang together. By the way, for those of you in other City's that wants to try to pull of such a fabulous hang, I contract out Leo's services. Just PM me. By the way Leo, remember the 20% cut deal we have... and if you're real nice... I'll give you 30%... I know... You're feeling all warm and fuzzy... But that's what friends are for.

Here is a pic of me giving trumpet playing advice with my friend Allen:

Hmmm... Allen seems a bit too happy with my advice...
