Debating to practice today.

    Well. I did the full day off and it was great. My chops felt terrific the next day and all is good. Thanks for the support. :-)

    Phew! You can take a breather now, then send it right down that brass tube :D
    I shouldn't be snarky, I could probably count on one hand the days I've missed since getting back into practice in Sep 09...

    not the exact quote, but I thought I remember hearing Herseth stated something like,
    'if I take 1 day off, I can tell. If I take 2 days off, everyone in the orchestra can tell. If I take 3 days off, everyone can tell.'

    Taking a day off now and then can be extremely beneficial.

    I've heard it said " If I take one day off I know it, 2 days my teacher knows it, three days the audience knows it.

    now that you successfully managed that day off -- NEXT time DO NOT LOG INTO TM ON THAT DAY OFF -- and spend that time wisely!!!!!!!! baby steps are over now!!!!!!!!! ROFL ROFL ROFL
