There are some very nice used C trumpets in your price range if you look. However, you speak of intonation problems with your current B & S. I am wondering if the problem is the instrument or you and possibly some playing problems. I think I would have some others check out my B & S and see if it is so bad for others.

I was thinking it might be a mpc problem. I have a few horns that don't like my regular mpc from an intonation standpoint. They are top of the line horns, not student/intermediate horns. Not that your B&S may not have problems, I would look at your mpc first as far as hardware is concerned. It could also and more likely be something you are doing wrong. Fixing yourself is a whole lot cheaper than trying to find a new horn.
